A group of HEP volunteers shared career opportunities at the Hastings High School College & Career Fair on Monday, October 19. Dwight Smith discussed volunteer and career opportunities with the Wetland Health Evaluation Program (WHEP). Walt Popp shared his career in water quality with the Minnesota DNR. Kevin Smith and Phil Vieth talked about careers in forestry. Joe Beattie talked with students about becoming a biology teacher. Many students stopped by, shared their interests, and learned about careers in the environmental field.
